Branding & Website

The Open Room

The Open Room Psychology was founded to provide a calm, supportive space where individuals can navigate life’s challenges with clarity and confidence. With a practice grounded in compassion and understanding, the brand required an identity that felt approachable, professional, and intentionally gender neutral.

Our approach centred on creating a refined visual identity that balances softness with structure, reflecting the practice’s commitment to offering a safe, judgement free environment for clients. The custom brand mark was designed to hold subtle meaning, resembling both an “R” and a chair, open to interpretation whilst grounded in the idea of support, conversation, and connection.

Paired with a muted palette and minimalist typography, the identity creates a sophisticated and welcoming brand presence that positions The Open Room as a modern, trusted practice for thoughtful and accessible support.

“Working with Jemma was such a seamless experience from start to finish.”

She took the time to truly understand the vision and created a brand identity and website that felt even better than I could have imagined. Every detail felt thoughtful, warm, and refined, and I immediately connected with the direction she presented.

The final brand and website is warm, welcoming, and professional, and I’m so glad we were courageous enough to move away from a standard blue colour palette. I’m so excited to begin practising psychology again with a website that feels so aligned with my vision.

Thank you for your wonderful work, it’s been a pleasure working with you.
